David Wilde provides therapy for individuals and families. He specializes in working with adolescents who struggle behaviorally and/or emotionally. He comes alongside families to address ongoing conflict and unhelpful family dynamics. He has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to provide treatment to children and adolescents (ages 10-18) who have experienced traumatic events.
Additionally, David works extensively in anger management and anxiety treatment, providing therapy for adolescents and adults. He works from a perspective that integrates the latest understandings of the mind-brain matrix to help clients increase awareness of how beliefs—and emotions attached to those beliefs—impact their lives.
David earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri, as well as a National Certified Counselor. He holds professional membership in the American Counseling Association and is a New Life Ministries network counselor. David lives in St. Louis with his wife, two children, and exuberant black lab. When not working, he enjoys cycling around St. Louis, hiking, reading, and putzing in his yard.
